Playa, Sundsvall’s major summer festival, July 10–11

Summer, music, and festival vibes come together when Playa Festival takes over Himlabadet. Over two days, the area will be filled with live acts, swimming, partying, and experiences in one of Sweden’s most unique festival formats.

In addition to the concerts, everything from silent discos and karaoke to food, bars, and activities awaits throughout the area. Taking the stage are Hooja, Nause, Lovet, and Joakim Lundell, among others—a lineup that sets the stage for two evenings filled with energy and summer vibes.

Sundsvall Bjuder, every Tuesday in July

Every Tuesday in July, Stora Torget comes alive with music and summer vibes when Sundsvall Bjuder hosts a free street party right in the heart of town. Artists like Sanna Nielsen and Brandsta City Släckers take the stage, and the evenings are hosted by TikTok personalities Linnea and Viola.

Music on the Pier in Skatan

In the idyllic fishing village of Skatan, summer evenings await where live music meets the sea. Skatans Café & Krog once again invites you to concerts on the pier, an atmospheric experience where you sit close to both the stage and the water.

On July 16, Moneybrother will perform a stripped-down solo concert, and on July 23, Eric Gadd takes the stage with his distinctive voice and repertoire.

Sundsvall Summer Days, July 24–25

The Main Square transforms into the summer’s biggest party venue when Sundsvall Summer Days takes over the city on July 24–25. Over two days, enjoy live music, a festive atmosphere, and a theme that takes you from ’90s hits to a pulsating after-beach party.

Performers include E-Type and Rednex, and the square will be filled with energy, nostalgia, and dancing well into the summer evening.
