We celebrate Sundsvallsbandet Gluttony, which releases its fourth full-length plate, and to make it even more desolate and chaosty, we have invited the live favourites Sanctrum from Uppsala. Count on a loud night at a crazy high pace!

Gluttony was founded in Sundsvall in 2009 by three members from My Own Grave. The vision was to play straight and swingy death metal as it sounded late 80s and early 90s with the HM2 pedal on the max. For Demon Coffinborn, the song was conducted by Johan Jansson (Interment) but before the full-length Beyond the Veil of Flesh (Vic Records, 2014) Magnus took the "Hatpastor" Ödling (ex-) Setherial, ex-diabolical) over the microphone. Over the years, Gluttony has released three albums and several other obscure releases and toured extensively in Europe. In the spring of 2026, the fourth album Eulogy To Blasphemy comes out on F.D.A. Records and Releasefesten runs off the stack on Pipeline on Saturday 2 May before the band heads out on a European tour.
Sanctuary
Sanctrum is Uppsala’s most unconscious survivor in extreme metal and has for over two decades refused tone down its brutality. The debut album In Harm's Way (2008) set the bar high, and with ROT (2015), produced by Lawrence Mackrory (F.K.Ü, Darkane) and mixed by Danne Bergstrand (Dimmu Borgir, Behemoth), Sanctrum cemented his reputation as one of Sweden's most uncompromising acts. The EP "Walk With Vermin" (2018), the single "Beacon In The Light" (2020) and "Sageling" (2023) led to shows at the Swedish Rock Festival. Sanctrum is now present with the critically acclaimed Awaken In Embers EP, which has already been praised nationally and internationally. Sweden Rock Magazine describes Sanctrum as "a hybrid between thrash and death metal crossed with hardcore and squad punk" and live, Sanctrum delivers just that: a physical force of nature, a wall of energy and precision that makes the audience breathless, dreary and still hungry for even more chaos.
