Nour El Refai - Glows in the Dark

It’s been 20 years since Nour El Refai toured with her first self-written performance “Almost Like Boys”, today she is seen as one of Sweden’s most beautiful and skilled comedians. Autumn 2026 and spring 2027 Nour finally returned to the Swedish tour with his new performance “Nour El Refai – Glows in the Dark”. It becomes a standup about suddenly being single, living with a silly lizard and suffering from unrequited love – to yourself. On March 6, Nour comes with his standup to Sundsvalls Theatre!

“I’m crazy and sad and I have opinions about everything! All! Welcome to my standup performance. It’s about suddenly being single and living with a silly lizard and how I suffer from an unanswered love for myself, says Nour El Refai about “Glows in the Dark.”

For the past 20 years, Nour has established itself as one of Sweden’s leading comedians. In addition to running standup at clubs across the country, she has made several extensive tours with self-written humor performances, programming "Melodifestivalen" and "Land lucky pills", appeared in TV shows such as "Parliament" and "Masked Singer Sweden", acting in TV shows such as "Bonus family" and "Troll times", as well as directed the youth series "Skitsame". On stage we have also been able to see her in theatre sets such as "Karlsson on the roof", "Amadeus" and "Grease".

Nour El Refai is known for his stabbing humor and eye for comic absurdities. "Nour El Refai says jokes for about 75 minutes," she was called "one of our best comedians." (Jönköpings-Posten), "skilful Estonian" (UNT) and the performance was described as "a composition, a well-made work with considerable height" (DN).

In the autumn of 2026 and in the spring of 2027, she returns to Sweden with her new performance “Nour El Refai – Glows in the Dark”. It will be premiered in Kalmar and then she will visit 24 locations, including Nyköping, Falun and Östersund.
