"Storsjöhyttan was started in 1995 and is run by glassblowers Ulla Gustafsson and Nilla Eneroth.
We are both professionally trained glassblowers from the glass school in Orrefors, where we met in the early 90s, and we have since also undergone higher artistic education.
All products are made according to traditional craftsmanship methods in the glassworks, which is located in the old power station at Östersund's small boat harbor.
Over the years, we have created utility glass and art glass in varying price ranges and for different uses on behalf of large and small companies/orders.
We set high standards for quality and have a clear environmental policy as we recycle glass shards in the most energy-efficient furnace available on the market.
The glassworks is located by the shores of Storsjö, in the harbor of Östersund. Next to the glassworks, there is a shop and a gallery."
