In Simple, beautiful, tender - A tribute to Monica Z, Frida Öhrn, together with Carl Bagge and his trio, takes the audience on a journey through Monica's life, artistry, and timeless songbook. Join in on a warm and swinging musical journey through Monica's world – from collaborations with Hasse & Tage, Beppe Wolgers, and Povel Ramel, to the magical encounters with Bill Evans that took her all the way to New York's jazz clubs.
It will be an evening filled with humor, presence, and musical brilliance, where several of Monica's original arrangements have been brought out from the archives. Arrangements written by Lasse Bagge, who played with Monica for many years – and who now get new life in his son Carl's hands.
