One of the coziest evenings at Bergafjärden is Lysnatta. Lysnatta (or Lyskväll) is a relatively young tradition in Sweden/Norrland for bidding farewell to summer and is celebrated by lighting fires of various kinds along the shoreline.
At Bergafjärden, the celebration begins in the restaurant, where we light the fireplace and enjoy good food and drinks. As it gets dark outside, we walk together along a lit path down to the beach where we light torches and send off floating lanterns.
For the evening, popular Gunnar Sundberg will entertain from 7:00 PM, and it offers a night of classics that everyone can join in singing.
