July 12 - The Summer Schaller with Arvingarna, Tess Merkel, Martin Rolinski, Martin Hanning Häggström and Anna Hanning Häggström.

Summer music in Galtström with Lisa Nilsson and Viktor Norén

June 29th

A lot of coziness and an intimate concert among picnic blankets and armchairs. That's summer music in Galtström. A folk festival a stone's throw from the sea in the summer idyll south of Njurunda, in a historic setting among forests and Medelpad's oldest ironworks.

This year, two popular headliners, Lisa Nilsson and Viktor Norén, will be performing.

Lisa - our Swedish music legend who with over 30 years on stage created lots of music. Hits of all time are mixed with Lisa's now famous interludes and monologues.

Viktor - our popular musician from Dalarna will play his heart's songs, his and his brother Gustaf's songs and offer wish songs.

In Galtström, there's usually a ticket on the door, so book your ticket before it's too late.

Sundsvall Invites

July 2-23

For the 11th year in a row, Sundsvall invites you to a party on Stora torget in beautiful Stenstan. During four Tuesdays in July, there will be atmospheric summer evenings where both long-distance guests and locals sing and dance together. Join us and experience Sundsvall Bjuder, a free event for everyone.

Playa Festival

July 5-6

Beautiful Himlabadet in central Sundsvall is one of the country's finest swimming facilities. Playa Festival is Sundsvall's new big summer festival with Sweden's hottest artists in the evening and Sweden's largest pool party during the day. You hear that; what a combo!

Relax and sunbathe with a good drink in hand or get active with surfstream, obstacle course in the pool and sauna. DJs, led by hitmaker Raaban, will also create a great atmosphere in the sun among all dear Playa visitors.

Enjoy a great festival atmosphere and great music from artists such as Veronica Maggio, Bolaget, Hooja, Icona Pop and Tjuvjakt as well as good food and drinks.

The Ljungarock

July 11-13

The winter hibernation in the northern forests is over. In July, the rock festival finally emerges from the forests again and during the three days it gets even worse in Ljungaverk, Ånge.

The big western bands themselves, Takida and Stiftelsen, take the stage in front of the home audience. With them they have bands like H.E.A.T, Corroded, Perfect Plan, Blowball and Bourbon Boys and once again we can guarantee that Ljungarocken will be central Sweden's big music event this summer.
