S:t Olavsleden

St. Olavsleden is the world’s northernmost pilgrimage. The trail is about 580 kilometers long and stretches from the Botten Sea to the east to the Atlantic Ocean in the west, from Selånger in Sweden to Trondheim in Norway. The trail runs through forests, over mountains, along lakes, communities and historical sites. The foundation is a mix of forest trail, gravel road and asphalt.
St. Olavsleden is the Scandinavian response to El Camino de Santiago de Compostela, the famous Spanish pilgrimage.
