WANT TO REGISTER AN EVENT?

You can easily do so via the events calendar. Create a user and publish your event directly in the events calendar. External link, opens in new window. Click on publish your event in the top right corner. When you create a user, you will receive a code to confirm your account, it may take up to 10-15 minutes for the code to arrive. Do not refresh the page while you wait. Save your login in a safe place as you will use the same login to track the status of your event and post more events.

WHAT APPLIES TO EVENTS IN THE EVENT CALENDAR ON DESTINATIONSUNDSVALL.SE?

The events calendar is a place where both visitors and local residents can find information about current and upcoming events throughout the destination of Sundsvall, Timrå and Ånge.
The events calendar is a popular and free marketing channel. Publication is free of charge. Once the event is reviewed and approved, it will be visible in the event calendar provided that it follows our developed policy.

POLICY FOR VISIBILITY IN THE EVENTS CALENDAR

The right event strengthens the brand. It creates growth for the destination throughout the year. An event is a gathering or event that, unlike ongoing activities, is organized for a short period of time.

Events should act as a visitor attraction in some way and should therefore meet these criteria:

• The event should attract some type of visitor, private tourists, event tourists and/or meeting participants.
• The event must take place within the destination.
• The event must be public. I.e. open to the public with or without an entry fee.
• The event must be of tourist interest and/or positive for Destination Sundsvall.
• The images and texts provided by the organizer must not infringe anyone else's copyright.
• We reserve the right to make any adjustments.
• Destination Sundsvall may make exceptions to the above policy and assess certain event requests individually that particularly strengthen the brand and location.
  
  

Rules: The following events are not published

• Religious events (except for certain concerts).
• Political events
• Lectures (unless they meet our criteria)
• courses
• Events that may be perceived as offensive or those with, for example, racist or sexist messages.
• advertisements or opening hours of businesses
